SB History

After discovering G n’ R in the mid-80′s, Necro totally entered a phase that he would now love to forget. He became a total mullet-sporting, cheez-rocker wanna-be. After learning a few power cords, the ever-niave Necro thought he was ready, and called upon best friend Robb Hollen (who eventually became known as Robb Hollen of Sacrificial Bishop or “RHoSB” for short) for lyrical support. Hence, the birth of Sacrificial Bishop! Having moved on from the likes of G n’ R and after tooling around for a couple of years covering every Metallica song on the planet, Necro convinced RHoSB to pick up the 4-string motherfucker. And the rest, as they say, is history.

One look at a SB album cover and/or song list and its obvious why they have never gone mainstream. SB is perverbally saying “fuck the establishment” by not conforming to industry standards with pop sounding titles and/or imagery. It’s this kind of thinking that has kept SB an independent and underground band, free from all the record company red-tape b.s. SB has turned down countless contract offers and literally boat loads of cash from major labels practically begging the B to sign over.
If there’s one thing that the B will be known for (or NOT known for) is being a sellout band – that is, unless there’s enough zeros involved.
When asked why they wanted to start a rock band – Their answer: “To get laid, why else?”
